Thank you for visiting!
My husband, Kevin, and I have four children: one at Stratton, and three at Arlington High School.
I am an Associate Dean at Southern New Hampshire University where I oversee courses on Applied Statistics and manage faculty. I love my work changing the lives of nontraditional students - at scale!
I am an alumnae of Stanford University with a BS and an MS in Materials Science and Engineering. Before having my children I worked as a math teacher in grades 6-12. I’ve been the Registrar for the Arlington Soccer Club, currently volunteer as a coach and am a board member as Kindergarten Director. I have worked with the Girls Scouts and served as a Town Meeting member from Precinct 15 for six years.
In addition, I have served on the Gibbs School Parent Advisory Committee, the Stratton School Rebuild Committee, the Stratton School Parent Council and as the Co-President of the Stratton PTO. I was a part of the leadership team on both Build Arlington's Future campaigns (2016 and 2019) as well as the Invest in Arlington campaign in 2023.
As a School Committee member I have been on the policy, budget, and community relations subcommittees. I have been the chair of the curriculum subcommittee and have served as chair of the full committee.
Since our oldest child began kindergarten in 2012, I have followed goings on in our schools closely, and over time I have learned that while I very much care about my children's experiences in school, I am also deeply vested in how all children experience school, especially those whose voices may be softer than mine.
I am excited to continue to bring my experience as an experienced member, classroom teacher and a parent to the School Committee where I will advocate for our students, teachers and schools.
